Hello, my name is Jeremy and I would love to help you to speak English confidently and sound like a native speaker! I am a native speaker myself, and English has always been a strong discipline for me. Additionally, I love tutoring and teaching others and I have done this all of my life. My grandmother has also tutored ESL for over 20 years and she has taught me her methods. You will experience your English abilities improving greatly--I promise this to you. I charge $9 per hour, and your first 3 lessons will be free, so you will know that this type of tutoring is right for you before making any payment. Subjects we will focus on include: · Listening · Speaking · Reading · Writing · Grammar You will become skilled in casual/conversational English as well as academic/professional English. I will also be happy to help with any homework in any subject like math, science, history, etc. I enjoy working with people of all ages--from small children to adults--and I will be happy to work with entire families as well. You choose the location, and we can conduct the tutoring there. It can be done at your home, or a public place such as a library or a café. We will meet wherever you prefer. About me: I am a Junior at Kent State University majoring in Communication Studies. I began tutoring others at 13 years old, and I have experienced much success in tutoring classmates all throughout middle school and high school. I have also tutored fellow students during my time at the University, and I have met lots of international students here who I enjoyed gaining ESL tutoring experience. I have also taken many courses that help me with ESL tutoring, such as Global Literacy and Cultural Awareness, Multicultural Psychology, and Introduction to Structural Concepts for Language Students. I will also complete a TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) program and gain certification before I graduate. All of my courses are online-based this semester, so my schedule is very free and I can probably meet you during the times you most prefer.
