Does your child need help in Math or English? I am a male Ontario Certified Teacher for HDSB available to tutor students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. In addition I have worked with ESL and adult learners. It has been proven that good tutor can improve children's grades and enhance their overall scholastic experience. My goal is always to provide good educational care and to improve their marks but to also strengthen their fundamental skills, which will stay with them throughout their educational career. I have taken courses on Alternative Algorithms which is a problem solving approach to tackling math questions. This method allows children to think for themselves on what is the best approach to answering questions. I will use traditional Math and Alternative Algorithms to improve their understanding of concepts. THE FIRST HOUR IS FREE. *This is where we can meet each other and you can decide for yourself whether you would like to continue learning from me. *I can create private lessons (appropriate with Ontario Curriculum) or assist with homework. *Our tutoring sessions could be at a public library location (somewhere convenient for the both of us) or I can drive over to your home. *Flexible timings and 6 days a week (availability). *Special study plans are designed for ESL and students with learning problems.
