Hi, Full-time;/Part-time/Summer Tutor/Teacher available I have a great amount of experience and love working with children of all ages since the past 12years. I have tutored students of all ages in English/Maths/Science/Humanities. Helped students prepare for tests and exams and target their weakness and improve their grades by patiently working with them and making them understand. Understanding is the key to studying. If you understand it, then you know how to do, it builds up your self-confidence and it's then easy and more fun when you can do it, especially when your end result is a high grade after all the hard work. Tutoring is unique to me because you can work around the individual, learn that students strengths and weakness in that subject and then aid them patiently to understand it and see the happy reaction when they get it correct. For English, I love working on all areas of reading and writing, which techniques to make their essay more awsume and testing their creativity. This is important as you get older and you get into college applications, it's your creative writing and your structured essay supporting the crux of your linking ideas that make it a golden stand. For math's, I was able to teach new and faster ways to remember how to solve equations. This helped establish their self-esteem, become more motivated and focused to practice more. I have seen many who's grades went from failing to a high marks. For science, it's the crux as it's these essential subjects that students need to take up and do well especially when the marks are important for future college applications. Being a current medical student I understand the needs and know most students want to look up to someone who understands their needs. As I still have young siblings still in elementary and middle school, I have experience both sides of the table. I like to make learning fun for students by catering to their needs, using positive reinforcement and developing a rapport with both parents and students. My prime goal is to put your children's educational needs first in every endeavor.
