I have always loved learning math and over the past few years, I have discovered how much I love tutoring math as well. I've worked with students of all ability levels and have experience tutoring elementary school students, middle school students, and high school students. I currently tutor students at my high school in algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, and pre-calculus. My specialty is SAT and ACT math prep and I have taken SAT prep courses from the Princeton Review. Having just taken the SAT, I have a wealth of knowledge and have learned different strategies to master each kind of problem. I scored an 800 in math and believe that with a little bit of practice, anyone can achieve the score they desire. Competing for the last four years on the math team at my high school, University High, I have learned how challenging and rewarding Math can be. I have had so many incredible Math teachers and I would love to be able to share the strategies I have learned with other students. My best skill as a tutor is my ability to be patient and positive with students so they feel encouraged and can learn at their own pace.
