Hi! My name is Jackie and I just graduated from the University of Toronto Schools (a private high school in downtown Toronto). Next year I’ll be going to the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) for bioengineering. I’m offering tutoring services during the summer before I head off to university. A bit about me… I’ve been a peer tutor at my school for 3 years now covering topics from Latin to French to music (flute). I have a 98% average and I have taken courses such as AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics, AP Calculus, and AP English Literature. My ACT score was 34 (out of 36) and I got an 800 (perfect score) in the SAT subject tests for Math II and Chemistry. I have placed in the Honour Roll of several national Waterloo math contests, placed in the top 5% of the Chem 13 Exam (a national chemistry competition), and I am a National Biology Scholar (top 4% of the National Biology Competition). I applied to most of the Ivy Leagues and other top schools in the U.S. so I have experience with the Common App and the whole application process.
