Tutor in Nepean, Ontario

Hi There! I am a full-time Educational Assistant at a local elementary school in Barrhaven. At the school, I specialize in behaviour modification and academic support of students in the Resource Department. Most of my experience is with children with exceptional needs (Autism, etc.) but I have typical clients as well. I have a number of clients that I work with in their homes to supplement their education at school. I am looking for more clients as I have some availability in my schedule now. Qualifications: I have a BA in Child Psychology from Carleton University. I am also trained in ABA/IBI behaviour therapy for children with exceptional needs. My experience includes a Practicum Placement at the Royal Ottawa in the Youth Program, work as an Instructor Therapist with children with Autism and as an Educational Assistant in a Resource setting. I am First Aid/CPR certified and I have a vulnerable populations Criminal Record check for anyone who requires it. I am more than willing to provide references upon request.
