Improve your academic ability over the summer; don't fall behind! I am a Teacher registered with the OCT. I've taught as a full-time, permanent teacher, for 9 years: Elementary School, High School, Special Education (all abilities), and ESL (English as a Second Language). I have 5 degrees (BA - English, Geography and Drama, Masters of Education, Teachers College, Postgraduate Degree in TESOL, and Postgraduate Degree in Law - Migration Law). I am very confident teaching all subject areas of the curriculum. I've specialized in English; specifically teaching and improving reading, writing, speaking and listening, and spelling, to students 3 years of age to adults. I have planned, taught, implemented and presented seminars teaching teachers how to effectively teach all areas of English to their students and their individual learning needs. I offer one to one and/or small group tutoring. All sessions are individualized to meet the learning needs of each student. I tutor for people ages 3-adults; all subjects including ESL (for any languages). I tutor in-home (cost varies depending on location), at Clarkson Library Mississauga and Forest Hill Library Toronto. I would rather tutor privately than work for an agency (where families pay more for the same service). I am happy to provide a cover letter, resume, and references upon request.
