I enjoy teaching and I have helped several students in the past to excel in their academic pursuits. I am friendly and deeply care about the learning aspect.

I love both reading and writing--nonfiction, essays, fiction, poetry, mysteries, plays. I also greatly enjoy working with other writers on prewriting, brainstorming, drafting, revising and integrating quotations. It's magical to watch an essay, poem, or short story take shape!

I recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Physics and a minor in Math. Throughout middle school and high school, I volunteered to tutor students from less funded school districts. During my undergraduate years, I worked after school hours to help students with mainly math and science.
