I am a professional educator holding a Florida state teaching certification in secondary social science. I have been teaching in Broward County for the past 10 years. I also have experience with a variety of other subjects as an academic coach. In this position, it was my responsibility to assist students with their academics as well as monitor and direct homework, organization, study skills, and college and career preparedness. When working with students it has always been my goal to teach and address the whole student. Providing students with a positive role model and mentor is essential in every child's educational success. It is my hope that my services will be an extension of the responsibilities I possess in my profession as an educator. I am available after 3 pm on week days and anytime on weekends. I not only provide tutoring services but I supervise and coordinate homework, organization, and studying with an emphasis on reading everyday. My prices are reasonable and I offer sibling discounts. I prefer to meet in a public place such as a bookstore, coffee shop, or library but I can come to your house if you prefer.
