I have an undergraduate degree from Skidmore College with a concentration in both psychology and early childhood education. I also hold a dual masters from Bank Street College of Education I’m Teaching Literacy and Elementary Education. I started my career teaching in both NYC private and public schools. I also mainatained a private practice as a literacy specialist on the Upper East Side of Manhattan before moving to DC. Ever since I moved to this area, I have been teaching for DCPS at Brent Elementary on Capitol Hill. At Brent, I’ve held positions as a second grade teacher, reading specialist, and kindergarten teacher for the past seven years. I’m also a mom of two boys ages 7 and 1.
