Strategies are taught on how to approach problems. Every problem is diagnosed and broken up into parts. Then step by step method is applied to solve the problem. My experience tells me that this method creates excellent grades. -- Conceptual maps -- Conceptual maps make one see a concept in relation to other concepts. This not only develops the inter-relationships of concepts but also emphasis the relative importance of the concept. One can see that in the landscape of concepts what the place of a particular concept is. Our nervous system is a connected set of neurons connected in the form of concepts, memories and experiences. Teaching by conceptual maps takes the advantages of the mechanisms of arranging knowledge in our brain. Thus students gain a much broader bird view of their subject. It will also give them an edge on solving problems by more than one method. -- To see an example for physics courses please go to following link http://....edu -- To see an example for math’s courses please go to following link. http://....edu -- 3D animations -- Research has shown that in humans the strongest sense is sense of sight. The world around us is 3D, a picture of a wheel makes a better impression than its description. 3D animations are more close to life than a descriptive lecture. One may forget a conversation, lecture or discussion but will remember an animation or video clip for a very long time. With visual representation of concept, relationship and process understanding concepts is much easier. 3D animations are necessary and useful tool in making concepts, relationships and processes at home to the students. -- To see an example for physics courses please go to following link. https://....com -- To see an example for math’s courses please go to following link. https://....com -- Simulations -- Simulations are like real life analogies. They display a concept in action in 3 D leaving a deep impact on the mind. They are made in such a way that by changing the values of the variables one can see their impact. Eg if you want to study acceleration you can put various values of initial velocity, final velocity and time to see how acceleration changes. One is able to see the phenomenon from many different points of views. The comprehensibility of the phenomenon can be attained by simulating the phenomenon in different conditions. Students while playing with simulations would be able to understand different facets of the phenomenon. In this tuition center phenomenon is explained and explored from every possible perspective. -- To see an example for physics courses please go to following link. https://....edu -- To see an example for math’s courses please go to following link.
