Tutor in Washington, District of Columbia

I am a young professional in DC and am passionate about international economics and trade. I have a B.A. degree in Economics and German from Bates College and a Masters Degree in European Studies from GU. My specialty is teaching economics to non-native speakers of English or students with special needs. I like to tailor my tutoring sessions to the needs of each individual student to address her/his particular needs and talents. I use graphs and analogies to teach, breaking down complex concepts to simple parts. I believe that positive emotions and humor are the necessary component of successful learning.
