Hello parents! My name is Vicki and I am an Alberta Certified K-12 teacher specializing in early childhood education. I taught kindergarten in the last couple of years and am looking for a elementary cohort to teach this year. I am trained in early literacy programs to teach phonics, letter recognition, sight word recognition, early reading and writing skills, and other important foundational skills needed for the younger grades. I also love teaching science and problem-solving real world issues using a multi-disciplinary approach. I can support online hub learning, provide in-home tutoring for one-on-one or small groups. I also love doing arts and crafts, and other fun hands-on activities with my students, and organizing educational outings--basically everything that I would do in a normal classroom--just with a smaller sized group!
