Hello! My name is Sabrina and I am a current college student. I am studying to be a Mechanical Engineer and then I hope continue on to graduate school. I graduated from Faith Lutheran High School in 2014. I am a very studious person who is always on top of their work and projects. I am currently enrolled in Calculus 2 and physics and have completed General Chemistry (college courses). My favorite subjects are Math and Science, but I am also very good in English and History. I used to work at at Kumon Math and Reading Center to help kids with their math and reading work. From this environment I have learned how to work well with children. Additionally, working with my Youth Group and at summer camps have provided me experience with working with older children or young adults. I signed up as a private tutor for more flexibility in my scheduling. I currently tutor elementary, middle school, and high school subjects, as well as basic general education college courses. My favorite part about tutoring is seeing a student finally understand something that was challenging to them. They receive the "Ah-Ha!" moment and will never forget that knowledge; their hard work paid off. As an engineering major I am required to take Statistics, Differential Calculus and Calculus 1, 2, and 3. Everything beforehand has been cleared and completed with a B or better. I am best able to help a student in math when I have their school materials to work with, but I can also provide materials if they are not enrolled in classes at the moment. I am very dedicated to knowing the basic math because it was instilled in me to know math like the back of my hand. Although I am very math orientated, I love the sciences more. My favorite subjects in high school were AP Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology. I also love Biology. I received high A's in all of these subjects and have a passion to learn more or teach them.
