I am a math teacher with a bachelor degree in Mathematics. I have taught math for many years in grade 7 to grade 12. During these years of teaching experience, I have been able to implement the following; • Implemented remedial programs (scaffolding,Universal Design for Learning) for students requiring extra help. This was usually done in a one-to-one setting, which has tremendously help the students involved. So I recommend this method for students struggling if one can create time for it. • Set and mark students test, assignments and quizzes, and give feedback • Encouraged group(work) discussion of class material to promote critical thinking • Meet with parents and guardians to discuss students’ progress at least once per semester
