Hello there! My name is Joanie Daye and I am a senior at Evanston Township High School. I will be attending college for Materials Science and Engineering, and I received all As in my core math and science classes. Skills: I've taken Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1, and am currently enrolled in AP Physics 2. Math wise, I am a year ahead in math, and I took Geometry Honors as an 8th grader at ETHS, as well as Algebra 2 Honors, AP Calculus AB and am currently enrolled in AP Calculus BC. What I'll work on with your student: I will encourage detailed note taking during class and during our tutoring sessions, which I have found makes the classes exponentially easier. We will work on the core skills needed for their math & science classes. Also, preparing for future classes, and if needed, standardized tests.
