Greetings! If you are in need of a tutor for your child or yourself then you need look no further than right here. I'm your guy. I am an experienced tutor and teacher of Elementary students, High School Students, and Adults. I have a B.A. in English, Minors in Creative Writing and African-American Studies, and a Masters in Teaching from Virginia Commonwealth University. I am a published and very seasoned Spoken Word Poet/Performer and writer of many styles of literature. My background is primarily in English, specializing in Creative Writing, Essay Writing, and Test Prep, but I have worked as an Elementary school teacher and am very knowledgeable in Math and Science as well. I am currently taking students on a $20/hour basis. The going rate is $20/hr, but if you register for 3 hours at once I will give you a $10 off discounted rate of three 1 hour sessions for $50. I can be a great summer tutor for young students who need extra preparation for the next school year, adults who are preparing for a test and would like extra help with effective studying techniques, and or anyone who wants to polish their writing. I currently have many students that I also coach on Poetry, Art, and Spoken Word online and would love to work closely to help build up a writers creative energies and faculties.
