Ecole Secondaire Catholique Saint Charles Garnier, class of 2012, graduated with 93% average Currently applying to Law Schools to pursue a JD. 4 years tutoring experience for high school and 2 years helping other in university. I am fully bilingual and have experience and ability to teach in a wide variety of subjects in both languages as I have learned them in french in high school and in english in university. I've always enjoyed tutoring as I enjoy helping other people and helping other learn concepts help me learn them better as well when I was in university. I like to come up with analogies to make material easier and more fun to understand. My colleagues have often told me my analogies do help clarify the material and help them learn better. I really found my passion for university through my extracurricular experiences. I served as Orientation Coordinator where I was in charge of organizing Orientation Week, a week of activities for over 1000 new students to the University of Toronto. In leading a staff of over 200 students I was tasked with planning events and festivities to make students feel welcome and prepared to start university. Along with fun social events, I did focus a lot on the aspect of preparing students by including some academic events and chances to meet professors. Having students tell me they enjoyed the week or felt more prepared was very rewarding. I also served on my student union as being in charge of our Education and Government Commission where I was tasked with coming up with and advertising academic events for the students of our university. I am very involved in leadership activities and volunteering, having taken part in various committees and unions while in school. I am an active person and enjoy running and biking and I also have a hobby in traveling.
