Tutor in San Diego, California

I am a retired High School teacher who recently moved to San Diego and still looking to teach but outside the classroom and on a one on one basis after school. I have taught Grade 9-12 Advanced Placement Biology, Regular HS Biology, Chemistry and Earth Science and taught for 13 years. I am familiar with California Science Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards. I am 34 years old and since I my son is starting school, I have to step back and work part-time. I still love teaching and I think I can still practice what I love to do by teaching students through tutoring. I am available Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school (3pm-5pm) and will only charge 25/hr with no transportation cost if you live 5-8 miles away from Ocean Beach or Point Loma. If you live more than 8 miles away, 30/hr. Also, tutoring can also be done at my place if preferred. I have a California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Biological Science and Chemistry. Graduated with a degree in Biology for undergraduate and a Master's degree in Teaching General Sciences and General Mathematics( Basic and Algebra 1). If you will be hiring me on a regular basis, I provide unlimited text/e-mails support* to help you if we are not meeting and even a Skype session (for a minimal fee**) if it is not possible to meet with you on certain days.
