My name is Andrew, I go by Andy, and I'm 20 years old and I currently attend California State University of San Marcos. I'm new to this tutoring community and I come here because I want to become a teacher once college is done. I feel like tutoring is a great opportunity for me to work on helping students improve in academic areas where they struggle. I plan on taking a "brick by brick" approach, transformation of study habits, test results, comprehension of school work can't be done in 1 hour. "Rome wasn't built in a day, but we've got a start". I grew up being raised in a strict way and it in a way made me be strict and disciplined with school and take it seriously. Although sometimes strict may not always be seen as the best thing, I do believe I have a fun side when helping students with classes, because sometimes if coming up with "there are 6 apples in two trees" will help you remember that 6x2 is 12 then I will be more than glad to take a fun approach like that. I hope you consider me as your tutor because I would love to work with you and improve my teaching skills.
