Tutor in Brooklyn, New York

Hello everybody, I am offering my services as a math tutor, although I can also act as a general homework tutor for any academic area (math, English, science, history, writing) for students from middle school to high school. I am happy to meet in someone's home, or to meet in a public location such as the main branch of the Brooklyn Public Library at Grand Army Plaza. I have decades of experience as an educator, over 10 years of experience teaching math in public schools in NYC, and have also tutored my own daughter who is just turning 12. I helped her gain entrance to the competitive Mark Twain middle school near Coney Island. I hold NYS certifications in math and special education so I am familiar with techniques for helping students with disabilities succeed as well.
