Tutor in San Rafael, California

For over 12 years, I have worked as a classroom teacher and tutor in both public and private schools in environments including Marin County (Redwood High), Oakland, San Francisco, and Hawaii. Subjects I've taught include SAT prep (all sections) and all grade levels of English, Writing, History, Spanish, Economics, and Psychology. Having completed the coursework for my master's degree in Counseling Psychology (from the Wright Institute), I have decided to focus on tutoring while accumulating internship hours for my degree. In whatever capacity that I work with students, I bring a solid academic background coupled with an enhanced understanding of the social and emotional issues facing young people today. I am passionate about teaching (and learning) and look forward to sharing that with you!
