I am energized by helping others "get it", whether the subject is Spanish, World History, Grammar, Geography or Reading. I know how to help the learner look at the subject matter in a user friendly way. My goal as a teacher and a tutor is to tap into the student's natural learning mode. I have had extensive stays in 10 countries. Plus, I lived in Spain, as an adult, for one year in order to begin learning Spanish. It is never too late to start. Spain has become my 2nd home. As well, for the past 5 years, I have been studying on my own initiative, the beginning history of the Roman Empire. Studying this content, is the most expansive, encompassing, and exhilarating subject I have ever studied. I learned more history, geography, world politics, and cultures from studying the beginning history of the Roman Empire, than my entire education. I hope this illustrates my thoughts about learning.
