Hi there! My name is Sophie, I’m a recent McMaster grad from the honours integrated Arts & Science program with a double major in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour. I am able to tutor a variety of subjects and levels including Math, English, Science, reading, and writing from JK-12. Moreover, I can help you or your child work on valuable skills that lend themselves to interdisciplinary life long learning such as persuasive argument development, essay writing and editing, effective and scientifically-proven study habits, and more! I am able to tutor online, at a loca public library, or in your home. I have plenty of past experience that qualifies me as a fantastic tutor for you or your child: for the past year, I have been a Teaching Assistant for introductory psychology, teaching first years not only the basics of psychology but also the basics of effective learning and studying at a university level. As well, I have been an essay editor for over 8 years, supporting my peers as they develop and perfect essays from a variety of disciplines including English, Literature, History, Science, and Philosophy.
