I am a UC Berkeley (Ph.D. chemistry, 2009) and Emory University (B.S. chemistry, 2003) graduate that seeks to offer my services in high school, SAT, ACT, GRE, college, ESL, math and science tutoring to the Atlanta community. My Ph.D. is in biophysical chemistry so I am very familiar with the core concepts of math, biology, chemistry, and physics. I am currently working with AmeriCorps in high school education and work with refugee adults and high school age youth. I tutor high school age youth in all high school subjects and adults in English. I am extremely experienced in working with all types of learners and feel compassion and patience is of the highest value in education. I strive to incorporate these traits in every tutoring session. I live between Decatur and Northlake Mall and am able to travel to a potential tutoring site. I have extensive experience in education having tutored in all high school subjects, computer programming, biochemistry, organic chemistry, college math up to differential equations, and writing in the past.
