Tutor in Denver, Colorado
I am a current college student studying statistics, finance and information systems who aims to help students learn concepts and complete assignments in a way that will teach them the tools to be successful on their own in a school setting.
Earning my associates degree while in high school taught me valuable time-management and study skills that have given me the tools to be successful in a college and a professional environment. I graduated with my A.A. and my high school diploma two years ago, with a perfect 4.0 GPA. I have used material I learned from my courses to help some of my fellow students with math, writing, or textbook comprehension/studying in a college environment. I would love the chance to do the same with middle/high school students, on a weekly, part time basis (helping students either face-to-face or over video chat, or both).
I have taken college-level courses and have read the latest books on the following subjects:
-Social Studies (including World History, American History, World/US Geography, advanced microeconomics and macroeconomics)
-Math (inc. Algebra I/II, Calculus I/II, Statistics, Geometry, and Trigonometry)
-English (inc. Essay composition, persuasive writing, report writing, grammar&vocabulary, public speaking, American Literature I/II, British Literature I/II)
-Sciences (inc. Physics, Earth Sciences/Geology, Biology, Chemistry, and astronomy/space science)
-Miscellaneous: French I/II/III, Computer Science (inc. programming as well as Microsoft applications), Music Appreciation, Philosophy, Psychology, Personal Finance
