Tutor in Port Chester, New York

I am an experienced math teacher and tutor. I have experience teaching and tutoring a variety of math including SAT/ ACT Prep. I am available for tutoring in Rye, Rye Brook, Purchase, Port Chester and Greenwich. I am an NYS certified teacher in both Mathematics and Students with Disabilities (7-12) . I possess a B.S. in Mathematics and M.S. In Mathematics Education. Small group tutoring also available. Subject Qualifications: Algebra 1: This is my third year teaching Algebra to 9th grade students. I also have experience over the last 4 years tutoring Algebra I. I have taught students in summer school as well as remedial Algebra to students for Regents Test Prep. Algebra 2/ Trigonometry: I currently have over 2 years experience tutoring Algebra II/ Trig and one year teaching the subject. Geometry: This is my second year teaching Geometry to 10th grade students. I also have experience over the last 2 years tutoring Geometry I. I have taught students in summer school as well as Geometry for Regents Test Prep. Pre-Algebra: Although I teach high school, I have much experience tutoring students in Pre-Algebra in the past. SAT Math: I have tutored and taught students many test prep strategies (both SAT and Regents) for approximately 3 years.
