Many believe that the point of a tutor is to help students with their academic struggles and that's it. However, I believe that a tutor should focus on helping students develop a deeper and more thorough understanding on the subject rather than a superficial understanding. I aim to help students develop skills that are applicable to multiple areas in the subject. I hope to help students grow an affinity for the subject, especially in subjects they struggle with. I am also looking for flexible hours and hoping to help students in elementary and middle school.
