Have tutored Students with Learning Disabilities, Mental Illnesses, Special Needs • Providing one-on-one tutoring for students (K-12) • Currently tutoring students in all subjects (except Physics 11 & 12) • Helping students find the right study method and learning style • Building confidence and motivation • Providing ideas on time management and balancing other aspects in life • Discussing life skill aspect with caretaker of student relating to their circumstances. • Providing coping strategies that decrease side effects caused from student’s circumstances. • Providing Information to Parents/Caretaker of student that will benefit them based on their circumstances. • Helped students improve reading, pronunciation and comprehension skills • Helped students build their confidence & gain communication skills I am very flexible with my schedule. I like to have clear instructions given on expectations as well as like to review the child's report card to have a better and stronger understanding of the child's current standings and what requires improvement.
