Does your child need tutoring? I've been tutoring students who need help in school or who simply want to get ahead of other students for three years now. I communicate and work with both the students, the parents, and the teachers at school (if applicable) in order to ensure that I provide the best and most relevant curriculum for the student. Qualifications: - 1.5 years of experience as a professional tutor at an after school learning center called "Kumon Math and Reading". At the center I worked with children from ages 5 to 14 and focused heavily on math and reading concepts. These concepts ranged from basic phonic pronunciation and number counting all the way to advanced reading comprehension and algebra. I've also worked with children who have ADHD effectively, as I have a strong patience and understanding for children struggling to learn. -Private tutoring experience with kids of different ages during the school year. -Volunteering as an after-school tutor at my high school. -I am about to be senior in high school with a 3.95 GPA (unweighted) 4.21 GPA (weighted). -SAT scores. Math: 720 (top 5%) Reading: 700 (top 5%) Writing: 660 (top 8%). Schedule/Location: Sessions can be done at my residence, the student's residence, or a location that we can both agree upon. Sessions are usually going to be during afternoons and evenings, however morning sessions can be done on Mondays, Fridays, and some Saturdays. To discuss a weekly schedule just contact me.
