Hi, my name is Alan. I am a college graduate who is deaf and fluent in ASL, but can also speak and lipread well. I had volunteered to teach a sign language class to a group of hearing students at a public library weekly. I have been teaching/tutoring ASL privately for over 12 years with individuals on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting at various locations around the Bay area. I would love to help you learn ASL and interact with deaf people using the expressive and receptive skills that I have mastered throughout my life. I am a very patient teacher who would like to see you become successful in conversing in ASL.
