Having a tough time finding a trustworthy, available tutor? Let your worries cease! I am a recent college graduate studying for grad school and working as an in-home tutor in Arlington county. My students range from sixth-graders tussling with pre-algebra to seniors juniors struggling with Calculus. Although the most common subject I tutor is Math from 6th-11th grade I do academic tutoring in some other subjects as well, including Latin and English. I do have a sort of tutoring philosophy wherein I try to instill good study habits and organizational skills in my pupils so that they will continue to flourish when the tutoring is done. This means that I will not give my students answers but rather help them reach the answers on their own with the goal of developing stronger study and work habits. I must note that I am an in-home tutor and service mainly Arlington county and sometimes DC so depending upon your location, I may be unable to work with you due to travel and scheduling issues.
