Hello, I'm Mathew, I am based in Ashland, Oregon and offer tutoring in Math and Science. I have strong confidence in my ability help students develop a deeper understanding and greater enjoyment (because it actually make sense) In Math up to and including Geometry. I also have a similar confidence in helping with some of the Earth and Physical Sciences; for example, Geology, some Chemistry, or Astronomy. I have a BS in General Science with an emphasis in Math and Geology, and sampled a bit here an there of a lot of the different sciences that are available for study. the only realms that I didn't delve into are the life sciences (biology, anatomy, etc) I love the ide of helping students to acquire a better understanding of the subjects they are studying, so that they actually have the potential of enjoying the learning process. I've found the problem solving can be quite fun once you have a thorough understanding of the tools at your disposal. I charge a competitive rate of $35.00 per hour for my tutoring services.
