Tutor in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Do you feel like your writing isn't as good as it could be? Do you struggle with essay writing? Are you writing a statement of interest or a personal essay for post-secondary? Do you just not understand what the Shakespeare's going on about? I am an English and History combined honours student in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After five years, I have my honours Bachelor's degree and my Masters of Arts in American Cultural Studies from The University of Western Ontario. I will be applying for my PhD in the fall. My teaching and tutoring experience ranges from conferences, leading tutorials, and working as the Undergraduate Humanities Writing Tutor for the Dalhousie University Writing Centre. I will tutor privately or in small groups (because sometimes people get nervous!) I am able to support students who are ESL, international students, and students with special needs. My main areas of study are American Literature and American History, though I have done numerous classes in Shakespearean studies, Canadian Literature, Canadian History, and literary theory.
