The ACT Tutoring Program--- From the diagnostic test all the way through the final practice test, Best The Test's one-on-one ACT tutoring program walks students through everything they need to know about the test. We cover each section of the ACT (Math, English, Reading, Science and the optional essay if you will be writing it) and make sure that our students are fully prepared come test day. To learn more about the six components of our tutoring program, read below! 1) The Diagnostic Test: We want students to start preparing for the ACT right away. That's why as soon as you sign up, we'll contact you within one business day and provide a diagnostic test for the student to complete. 2) The Starter Session: During this first session of tutoring, we use the results from the student's diagnostic test to create a customized tutoring plan. We also start doing practice problems from the subject needing the most work. 3) Tips and Tricks: At the beginning of the tutoring process the student will be provided with a tips and tricks guide. This guide has been put together by students who have recently taken, and bested, the ACT. 4) Practice Problems: In the following sessions, we'll work on several practice problems covering every subject. Our tutors have been specially trained to work with students and make sure that they understand the underlying concepts and how to apply those to different types of problems. 5) Homework Problems: At the end of each session, our tutors assign homework to the student so they can gain even more experience and continually practice what they've learned. At the beginning of each session, we go over any homework problems on which the student needs further help. 6) The Post Test: Prior to the last tutoring session, students will be provided with a full ACT practice test. During the last session, we'll go over those problems and provide last minute advice.
