I'm an
Individual
With extensive collaboration with multiple math instructors, I am fully aware of the concepts that prove to be most challenging in students. The method of tutoring would be to constantly challenge the student with quality problem sets in two hour blocks. My goal is to refine the thought process and learning habits, to become confident in the derivations, and to understand the patterns developed for that particular concept. The idea behind the rule of four is applied as often as possible: understanding the graphs involved, learning how to manipulate the equations, applying data and tables to use those equations, and finally to verbalize the learning process.
Here are the following classes that I tutor exceptionally well:
College of San Mateo/ Canada: Math 222, 241...
City College in San Francisco: Math 110A, B;
UC Berkeley: Calc 1A, 1B, 16A, 16B
SF state: Math 226, 227
High school: AP/BC Calculus
