Tutor in Frederick, Maryland

I am offering tutoring services for students in elementary school. I have a bachelors degree in both special education and elementary education. I have completed internships in a variety of grades and schools in the Frederick area. I am currently in my third year as a special education teacher. I am familiar with the Common Core curriculum along with the needs of students with disabilities. I have experience with working with students with Autism, ADD/ADHD, and learning disabilities. Meetings will take place at the downtown Frederick library or at a public place in the downtown Frederick area. I am asking for $40 per 1 hour session. If you would like me to assist more than one child, the rate will $30 per child. Payment is due at the time of service. I would prefer to provide one hour tutoring sessions on Sundays; however week nights are negotiable. For grades K-2, I offer support in reading (phonics and/or comprehension) and in mathematics. For grades 3-5, I offer support in the area of reading (phonics and/or comprehension). We can discuss needs if your child qualifies for special education.
