Hello! My name is Erin 👋 I am a classroom teacher certified with the Ontario College of Teachers. I offer 50 minute tutoring sessions either in home or online. I have been teaching K-6 for three years and prior to that worked as an Educational Assistant. I am passionate about supporting children through the learning process especially as it relates to learning how to read. I have taught all grade levels at the elementary level and am comfortable with instructional practices up to the intermediate level. I completed my teaching education at the University of Ottawa and have a Reading Specialist certification through Trent Univeristy. I have worked most recently as a school resource teacher so I am familiar and comfortable with a variety of learning needs and accommodations to support those needs. I am currently working as a teacher so my availability is limited to Saturday and Sundays between 10 am and 12 pm.
