Is your student behind in reading? Did his/her teacher suggest a summer reading program? With a Master's degree in a certified Reading Specialist program, combined with 16 years of classroom experience, I can help your child this summer. I have all materials available to assess your child's needs and then follow up with scientifically based intense intervention. I prefer to meet at the local library for a quiet professional setting. I live in Augusta and need to stay in the Butler County area. You will receive an initial evaluation from me, and weekly reports thereafter. Any documentation you have from your child's school would be greatly appreciated. I do require a minimum commitment of two hour sessions a week with me, plus 15 minutes of reading practice four nights a week. I can provide the intervention, but nothing replaces regular practice. To become a better reader you must read. Certified K-Adult. Credentials and letters of recommendation presented upon request. Intervention sessions are $15-$20 an hour depending on the intensity/frequency of the intervention program(s) needed. I look forward to hearing from you!
