I am passionate about education. I'm certified to teach English and Literature 6-12. I have tutored for both the America Reads and supplemental educational services programs. I have extensive training, including learning disability specific training. I began my career in tutoring as a volunteer peer tutor and counselor. I continued my career as a lead tutor for JFK tutoring for three years. I was a lead at both Bryan and Corr Elementary. While I was at JFK, I was able to tutor foster care students. I have a degree in relational communication, and also completed courses in child psychology and family communication.
