Tutoring Areas: I like to stick with grades 7-12 English, reading or writing, and grades 7-10 math. Qualifications: I have a BA in English with a minor in Physics. I have been a freelance writer and editor for 20 years. Experience: I have tutored a number of a school-age children in many subjects and can furnish excellent references. I've also taught ESL in Europe, and I recently taught a critical reading class at North Island College. Philosophy: I believe that learning should be fun, and I go to great lengths to make the child feel comfortable with me. I want the child to feel that they CAN DO THIS.
