I am a tutor and mathematician and theoretical physicist. I have a Master's degree in Physics (1978) from the University of Southern California, I made substantial progress towards a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics (Solid State) and a Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics (Functional Analysis) at the University of Southern California, I have a Baccalaureate Degree in Pure Mathematics (1976) and a Baccalaureate Degree in Applied mathematics (1977) from the California Institute of Technology. I also co-wrote with Professor Anupam Madhukar a seminal research paper in Nanotechnology, Physical Review Letters, 1977. I have tutored for the past 40 years and I enjoy it very much. I have tutored both online and 1 to 1 where I last tutored online at the company Brainfuse..... for 8 years and 1 to 1 at Chyten Educational Services for 3 years. I strive to understand the student's perspective on solving a mathematical problem and then I work from that perspective so that the student has the highest probability of understanding a solution to the problem and/or coming up with his own solution. I am always patient with my students since I go into each of my tutoring sessions with the assumption that my student is at least as smart as I am, so that as long as I am patient my student, my student will learn what he needs to learn. I am an outstanding Math Tutor by my extensive background in Physics, Math, and Applied Math, and my patience, love of tutoring, experience and tenacity.
