Tutor in Riverside, California

I have taught in the education system for over 14 years. I taught elementary school for 5 and then specialized in teaching deaf/hard of hearing students. My background experience gives me an edge to work with students who have various special needs. I have been able to take students who were non readers and turn them into readers. My areas of expertise are reading, writing, language, auditory comprehension, motivating kids, ability to get them to believe in themselves, and sign language. I can also assist with research and APA formatting. My education background is a masters degree in elementary education and a doctorate in educational leadership. I'm here to help and I can even help parents determine needs for their child in the education setting.
