Hi Parents-- I am a California state credentialed teacher (Multi-Subject K-8 and Social Sciences grades K-12) with 17 years experience in the classroom and with one-on-one/small group tutoring. I have a masters degree in leadership and management, and employ very empowering and transformational methods that have been tried and true in helping my students boost their confidence in order to succeed academically. I can help all grade levels academically in Language Arts (reading, writing, listening, comprehension, speech) and Social Sciences (history, government, political science, economics). For math, science, and other related areas I am able to provide help for all grades, but I usually don't take on math higher than Algebra 1 and Geometry, or science areas such as Chemistry and Physics. More importantly, however, if your child is experiencing low self-esteem or lacks confidence due to difficulties academically, I can provide the tools that will help them rebuild their confidence and get them to a point where they will feel empowered in the classroom again!
