My passion for tutoring began when I was in my first years of high school and free tutoring was being offered to those in our school library. I was initially drawn to the offer because of the extra credit for being one of the tutors, but after a few sessions my reason for going greatly changed. After some time I started going to catch up with those that I had helped in the past to see how they were doing both personally and academically. It brought me a great amount of joy to hear that they did well on their tests and that their class average was improving, but what had brought me the greatest joy was that they were actually understanding the material a lot more easily thanks to my teaching. The field that I specialize in is Mathematics which can range from elementary school level addition and subtraction all the way to College derivatives and integrals. My method of teaching isn't simply to teach the student how to learn the content that he or she is currently learning, but to instill in them the means to understand anything they may come across. I believe in a type of "train the brain" approach and I will stand by it and do my best to help others by using it. I will not be assigning extensive homework assignments or the like because that is the responsibility of the teacher. I will however make doing said homework much easier to finish and understand the logic behind. Feedback will always be appreciated from any and all clients and I will always try to improve myself to make the experience both a mentally stimulating and memorable one. If you need to request a cancellation I will have a grace period of 24 hours in which you can do so. I understand that life catches up to people and that sometimes plans need to be changed so if it is an emergency I can accept the cancellation earlier than the specified time should the need arise.
