As an elementary teacher of various grade levels, I have enjoyed creating engaging lesson plans that prove to be memorable and exciting for all students. As a laude graduate of the University of Mississippi, I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. I have studied abroad and taught students of all levels in many different parts of the world. At Vanderbilt University, I received my Master's Degree in Learning and Instruction with an emphasis in Language, Culture, and International Studies. Here I worked with educators from across the globe to gain a better understanding of the transfer of knowledge and precise methods of teaching that elicit the most beneficial growth in students. I look forward to meeting students of all levels and personalities. My goal is to meet each learner at his/her academic level and take him/her beyond where they once thought possible through enjoyable and effective tutoring practices.
