Tutor in Jacksonville, Florida

I am currently a Senior at Stanton College Preparatory School. If you are unaware, this high school has once been rated #4 in the nation and is currently #12. I am a B average student who takes all AP courses. I've passed the AP exam and I have earned college credits for ENC1101. I plan to attend the University of South Florida this summer and major in Mass Communications in order to pursue my desired career as a broadcast journalist. I have had an extended amount of experience with educating children. I was a volunteer at the MaliVai Youth Foundation for a year where I mentored 4 children who ranged from grades 1st through 3rd. I also help high school students with math in the mornings at my school for volunteer hours. Additionally, I tutor relatives from ages 11 to 21. I am also very active in extracurricular activities. I am the Co-Captain of the majorette squad in the Blue 's Marching Band. I've also been playing the flute since I was in the 6th grade. I play in my church's orchestra for large events. I also play in my school's seasonal concerts. Furthermore, I've been an Alto member in Chorus for 3 years. I really do enjoy teaching others and helping with education because I believe that knowledge is essential to success. I also believe in learning for understanding and not memorization. I would love to help your child succeed in their studies.
