Tutor in Tacoma, Washington

I have previously taught 3rd grade full-time in Arizona as well as having been a guest teacher for 18 yrs in the Franklin Pierce Shcool District (grades K-5). I have done tutoring in the past through the Child Reach Program. I also worked as a tutor for a few children who had English as a second language. I like to find out each child's learning style (kenesthetic/hands on, auditory, or visual) and work with them to use the modaliity/modaliities which best help them learn. I have many teaching tools and materials I have either made or collected over the years that I can bring with me to facilitate the children's learning.
