Tutor in Boston, Massachusetts

I am a 5-year Boston Public School teacher that has been living in the Boston area for 12 years. I am currently teaching 2nd grade and licensed to teach grades 1-6, as well as licensed to teach English as a Second Language. I am available late afternoons/evenings and many weekends to help your child or small group of children to make progress in any area in which they may be struggling. I can help with reading, writing, math, social studies, science, organizational skills, and social/emotional learning and skills. In addition, I teach mindfulness, breathing, yoga, and other calming techniques to my second graders and would be happy to share these as well. This is very helpful for students who need help self-regulating their behavior and emotions. I can chat with you via phone or meet you first at a local coffee shop, with no commitment to use my services. We can discuss the needs of your child and whether I would be a good fit to try to help.
