Hi, I am a Special Education Teacher at Ogden Elementary School in the Gold Coast. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. I obtained my Master's in Education and became a certified Reading Specialist at Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. I have eight years experience in teaching and tutoring one-on-one at the early childhood and elementary level. My experience also includes teaching and tutoring students with special needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delay, ADHD, and Visual and Hearing Impairments. I am highly qualified in teaching both reading and math and use a research based and multisensory approach when teaching my students. I blend phonics with sight-word recognition, while also making learning fun through the use of manipulatives and technology. Currently I am accepting students for summer tutoring.
